Non-stick surface. Just wash with water/water jet. No need to scrub to keep the surface from scratching.
Easy change of fences
When you make waffles from a larger amount of batter, after about 30 minutes the plastic at the heating spiral at the bottom of the hinge starts to protest slightly (small bubbles have formed on it), but nothing that would limit functionality.
