Oculus Quest features two OLED screens with 1,440 x 1,600 pixel resolution for each eye, which means beautiful, bright colours at all times. Excellent performance is guaranteed courtesy to the powerful Snapdragon 835 chipset. The integrated battery gives you around 3 hours of game time on a single charge.
While the sensors of its predecessor Oculus Go could only detect rotational head movements (3DoF), Quest can also detect left/right, forward/backward and up/down movements in the game zone (6DoF). All this without any cables. Just wow!
Oculus Touch controllers transfer your hands and gestures right into the gaming action. Your movements in VR will be intuitive and precise. Experience a realistic feel with every chop, throw or grip.
Oculus Quest virtual reality goggles are often seen as purely a gaming affair. However, there are a number of interesting apps available, such as Google Earth, allowing you to visit any place in the world. Creative individuals or even total beginners will appreciate the Tilt Brush app, which can be used to create 3D drawings, models and other creations. Especially interesting are also various communication applications, where you can meet people from all over the world through a virtual avatar.
