Serial ATA interface to IDE adapter for the connection of older Ultra ATA hard drives to a modern Serial ATA controller on the motherboard. A universal solution for all types of motherboards and hard drives. It is also compatible with the ATAPI interface for connecting CD-ROM drives and similar devices (if enabled by a Serial ATA controller).
