I realize that it depends on the number of files, but even with one large movie (1 file) the write speed did not reach more than 30MB/s. The average speed is much lower, around 20MB/s, even through the USB-C connection

People write here that it is slow, etc. You must also realize that there is a difference if we copy one large file like a movie or multiple folders with smaller files like music. If I' m pulling music the same size as a movie, my speed might drop, yes. This is because the disk is actually constantly moving from file to file. And also be aware that it' s a relatively cheap drive. It is in plastic and it also slows down when heated. For me, it is more than sufficient and, above all, a reliable flash drive. I' ll have it copied and when it' s done, it' s done.
